Learn, laugh and travel the world, one poster at a time. Discover amazing facts, traditions, colorful flags, music, art, fun crafts and tasty treats from different cultures. For $5 you will receive a passport, a stamp from each county you visit, a coloring sheet at each country and a helpful list of questions to ask. Adults will be free unless they also want to join in on the fun with a passport.

Urban Naturalist Bruce Rosenberg will lead a walking tour that will focus on the history and highlights of the Lasdon Public Gardens. Stops will include examining the William and Mildred Lasdon Memorial Garden, the magnolia trees, lilacs, conifers and azalea garden in addition to learning about the history of the Lasdon Main House.

The three beaches are open weekends and holidays from Saturday, May 23, through Sunday, June 21. Croton Point Beach will be open on weekends and holidays starting Saturday, June 27 through Monday, Sept. 7. Glen Island and Playland beaches are open daily beginning Friday, June 26, through Monday, Sept. 7; weather permitting. No admittance after 6 p.m. Parking and beach admission fees apply. Westchester County residency is required for Glen Island Beach. Westchester County residency is not required for Playland or Croton Point Park beaches.

Enjoy classic thrills, family fun and the reopening of the Dragon Coaster! Visitors can once again soar above the shoreline on the iconic Gondola Wheel, ride the Grand Carousel, and enjoy the timeless charm of Kiddyland rides - while savoring favorite park treats and new food offerings throughout the grounds. Lasdon’s gardeners will help rejuvenate your houseplants. Just show up, and together we will check the soil, remove dead and damaged leaves, repot it in good potting soil and talk about what your plant needs.
