Join us at Lasdon House’s wide windows to observe wildlife at our feeders and nearby habitat. We’ll peruse our bookshelf of resources, make notes in our journal and learn about bird-friendly plantings. Optional: Bring a baked good to share with other participants, or bring a scoop of food or suet cake for our feathered friends. We will provide coffee, tea and treats. Free.

Playland Park is hiring for the 2026 summer season! Open positions include beach and pool attendants, ride operators, ride attendants, lifeguards, cashiers, custodians and painters. Attendees are encouraged to apply to the position of their choice online before the Job Fair. The first 150 online applicants who submit their application by Wednesday, March 11, at noon will be guaranteed an interview at the Job Fair. Selected applicants will be notified in advance.
