Birds, Books and Baked Goods, 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Join us at Lasdon House’s wide windows to observe wildlife at our feeders and nearby habitat. We’ll peruse our bookshelf of resources, make notes in our journal and learn about bird-friendly plantings. Optional: Bring a baked good to share with other participants, or bring a scoop of food or suet cake for our feathered friends. We will provide coffee, tea and treats.

If you like to play outdoors in winter, let’s gather together to build with sticks and stems. We will learn about habitat, winter shelters and everything the season offers. For ages 18 to 42 months, with a caregiver. $5.

Join us for our annual sugaring-off party! We will have pancakes and other delectable goodies, along with our homemade maple syrup, maple sugar cotton candy and music. There will be live tapping demonstrations, and the sugar house will be open to show you how we boil down the sap to make syrup. Free.
