This immersive exhibit features a curated collection of botanical photography paired with easy-to-follow interpretive displays that showcase the fascinating variety of plant life — from ancient ferns and vibrant flowering species to towering trees. Guests can discover how plants grow, adapt and thrive while surrounded by living specimens inside the conservatory’s peaceful environment. Daily from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Aug. 31.

Visitors can once again soar above the shoreline on the iconic Grand Carousel, ride the Dragon Coaster and enjoy the timeless charm of Kiddyland rides—all while savoring favorite park treats and new food offerings throughout the grounds. Westchester County Veterans Museum Exhibit “Evolution: 250 Years of Military Gear,” 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
This exhibit explores the development of military equipment and technology across two and a half centuries of American history. Featuring authentic artifacts including boots, headgear, uniforms, camouflage, firearms, dog tags, communications equipment, medical supplies, haversacks and field rations, visitors get an in-depth look at the changing realities of military service. Dangerous and Toxic Outdoor and Indoor Plants, 10 a.m. - 11 a.m.
This tour will examine some of the dangerous/toxic plants that are found in your backyard, home and surrounding area. Parts of these plants, including leaves, seeds and berries, if ingested, can cause individuals to become violently ill.

Glen Island and Playland beaches are open daily beginning Friday, June 26, through Monday, Sept. 7; weather permitting. No admittance after 6 p.m. Parking and beach admission fees apply. Open to walkers, joggers, non-motorized bicycles, scooters, in-line skaters and e-bikes (class 1 only). Many points of entry and exit are along the way. Free admission.
