Join the Bedford Audubon Society at Hilltop on the first Wednesday of each month! Birders of all levels are welcome on this exploration of the farm through various habitats to catch a view of our winged friends. Free.

Visitors can once again ride the Dragon Coaster, go for a spin on the Grand Carousel and enjoy the timeless charm of Kiddyland rides—all while savoring favorite park treats and new food offerings throughout the grounds. Westchester County Veterans Museum Exhibit “Evolution: 250 Years of Military Gear,” 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
This exhibit explores the development of military equipment and technology across two and a half centuries of American history. Featuring authentic artifacts including boots, headgear, uniforms, camouflage, firearms, dog tags, communications equipment, medical supplies, haversacks and field rations, visitors get an in-depth look at the changing realities of military service. Ecotherapy, also called nature therapy, focuses on improving mental and physical well-being through outdoor activities. National Trails Day Family-Friendly Stewardship Hike, 10 a.m. - 11 a.m.
Ages 4 and up can join us on National Trails Day to explore a trail at Lasdon with the eyes of a steward. We will introduce tools and plants that need management and planting, and invite participants to help leave the trails better than we found them. Bring a picnic to enjoy afterwards. Free.

The three beaches are open weekends and holidays through Sunday, June 21. Croton Point Beach will be open on weekends and holidays starting Saturday, June 27 through Monday, Sept. 7. Glen Island and Playland beaches are open daily beginning Friday, June 26, through Monday, Sept. 7; weather permitting. No admittance after 6 p.m. Parking and beach admission fees apply. Westchester County residency is required for Glen Island Beach. Westchester County residency is not required for Playland or Croton Point Park beaches.

Bicycle Sunday, 8 a.m. - noon
Travel a 13.1-mile loop – from Westchester County Center south to Scarsdale Road in Yonkers – that’s closed to cars. Open to walkers, joggers, non-motorized bicycles, scooters, in-line skaters and e-bikes (class 1 only). Many points of entry and exit are along the way. Free admission.
