Seasonal Recreation Attendants - Golf Courses

Westchester County Department of Parks, Recreation & Conservation, a Nationally Accredited Parks System, has seasonal Recreation Attendant job opportunities available to staff Westchester County-operated Golf Courses. Schedules may include evening, weekend and holiday hours based on seasonal demands.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • general, routine manual labor and repair tasks 
  • various duties in grounds and building maintenance and repair
  • performing basic landscaping duties such as grass cutting, weeding, planting, watering, shrub and tree trimming
  • trash, debris and rubbish removal
  • use of hand and power tools and equipment

  • Dunwoodie Golf Course, Yonkers
  • Sprain Lake Golf Course, Yonkers
  • Maple Moor Golf Course, White Plains
  • Mohansic Golf Course, Yorktown Heights
  • Saxon Woods Golf Course, White Plains
  • Hudson Hills Golf Course, Ossining

Qualifications
Knowledge of basic gardening and landscaping preferred.

Requirements

  • Applicants must be 16 years or older
  • Must be able to work early hours, weekdays, weekends and holidays

Salary
Salary is commensurate with experience.
