Spend your Family Fun Day competing in the annual Sand Art Competition at Glen Island Beach. Participation is free; admission and parking rules apply. Weather permitting.

• Where: Glen Island Beach, Weyman Avenue, New Rochelle, NY 10805 (Directions)
• When: Saturday, Aug. 1. (rain date: Aug. 2)
• Time: Building: 11 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.; Judging: 3:30 p.m. - 4 p.m. Winners announced at 4 p.m.
