Road Access to Muscoot Farm Temporarily Limited During Construction Project
Oct. 21, 2025 – Road access to Muscoot Farm in Katonah will be temporarily limited due to a New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) culvert replacement project on Route 100. Beginning at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 22, and continuing through mid-December, access to the farm will be available only from State Route 35 (Amawalk Road).
The NYSDOT project requires a closure of Route 100 between Muscoot Farm and Moseman Avenue, and only local traffic will be allowed between Route 35 and Muscoot Farm. Detours will be clearly marked for both northbound and southbound traffic:
- Southbound Route 100: From Route 35 there will be access to Muscoot Farm on Route 100, but not beyond the Farm.
- Northbound Route 100: Follow detours to Route 118 to Route 35, then take Route 100 southbound to the Farm.
Visitors are encouraged to plan their routes in advance and allow extra travel time.
